About Us
The Heart of
Safe Pastures
A belief in second chances—for horses, for survivors, and for the families who walk beside them. We rescue and rehabilitate abused and neglected horses, giving them a new purpose as partners in healing. In turn, we provide a safe haven where women and youth that have survived trauma, hardships and addiction, along with their loved ones, can rebuild trust, find strength, and step into a future filled with hope.

Our Programs
Equine Assisted Learning
Healing happens here. Women and youth facing trauma, addiction, abuse, eating disorders and other hardships discover hope through our horses. We offer several different types of specialized support programs in a faith-filled environment.
Horse Rescue
Every horse deserves safety and love. We rescue horses from situations of abuse, neglect, and starvation. Here they receive medical care, proper nutrition, and gentle rehabilitation as they prepare to become partners in healing.
Horse Adoption
Our rescued horses are ready for loving families. Each horse has a story of survival and strength. We carefully match horses with adoptive families who can provide the forever homes they deserve.

Safe Pastures exists to honor a beautiful life and continue a legacy of love. Molly Genevieve Batterman understood the healing power of horses and the importance of second chances. Her strength through struggle, her faith through trials, and her belief in redemption inspire everything we do. Though she is home with Jesus, her story lives on through every horse we rescue and every life we touch. This sanctuary stands as a testament to her spirit and God’s promise that beauty can rise from ashes.
